Gordon Sasaki, MD, FACS

Dr. Gordon Sasaki is board-certified in General Surgery (American Board of Surgery), Laser Surgery (American Board of Laser Surgery), and Plastic Surgery (American Board of Plastic Surgery.  He is Director of the Sasaki Advanced Aesthetic Medical Center (Pasadena, CA) and currently Clinical Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery (Loma Linda University Medical School).

Dr. Sasaki was a former Assistant Professor at Parkland Hospital (University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center) and Acting Chief of Plastic Surgery at the Los Angeles County Hospital (University of Southern California).  He received fellowships in Surgical Oncology and Chemotherapy (University of Oregon Medical Center), in Hand Surgery (Yale Medical School), and in Special Training in Anesthesiology (US Medical Corp).

Dr. Sasaki is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Founding Member of the Stem Cell Society, and on the Board of Governors of the Aesthetic Stem Cell Society.  As an internationally-recognized innovator, educator and clinician, Dr. Sasaki has been Visiting Professor in 35 countries and awarded honorary life-memberships in the Japanese Society of Plastic Surgery, Australasian Society of Aesthetic Surgeons, Canadian Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery.  He was an Associate Editor of the Journal of Cosmetic and Laser Surgery and served on the Editorial Boards of the International Laser Journal and Annals of Plastic Surgery.  He has published over 85 peer-reviewed manuscripts and over 65 chapters in recognized textbooks and authored two plastic surgery books and five booklets.
